Specialised years ago into working with glass combined with natural materials.
Using the challenging and different possibilities of working with glass and influence
the way the light works on the glass, like fusing, pate de verre, slumping, sandblasting etc.
In 2020 he started to design a shape of glass to contain valuables based on natural shapes.
The "Glass Oyster" is a result of that experimental journey.
It is his goal to create beautiful (glass) objects and surprise customers with a design they will enjoy .

About the artist
Oscar van der Linden is born in the middle of The Netherlands and living in Haarlem (near Amsterdam)
Grown up in a creative family, a creative mother and a father who was a photographer and designer.
Inspired by nature and macro/micro photography.
He has over 30 years of experience in Design.
